Lua are an independent family-run business and since 2003 taking women out of poverty in Vietnam. Creating beautiful hand made velvet pouches, cases and make up bags.

All our pieces are hand-made mainly by women, working in small villages either in small, clean, brightly lit and well ventilated, safe workshops or at home so that they can work according to their own and their families’ needs. Many workers come from rural rice farming communities where poverty is widespread. Working with Lua enables them to combine their farming obligations with a valuable additional source of income. The workers are paid sick leave and, health insurance is provided for older workers. Bonuses are paid after each season and, in summer, a holiday to the beach is organised by our main partner for all the workers and their families. The regular work provided enables women from disadvantaged backgrounds to improve their families’ living conditions and to send their children to higher education.
We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us online. Occasionally, however, we know that you may want to return items. Our easy returns policy for online orders applies to all products except made-to-order items, jewellery, seasonally themed items, food products, and cosmetics and body products.
Your right to return begins when you place your order and ends 14 days after you receive your goods. If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14 days run from when you get the last item of the order.
If you wish to cancel your order, you must request a return and return the items to us within 14 days of your return being approved. We regret that items received after this time will be refused and sent back to you.

If you took advantage of a promotion including free items (for example buy X get Y free, or free X with Y) then the free items must also be returned. If you fail to return your free gift you will be charged for the free items that you have received.
